Security Agencies Seize Control Of PDP Headquarters

Following the report earlier that the Ondo state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP , has given Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu a three-day ultimatum to choose between resuming at the Governor’s Office in Akure in a three-day ultimatum, or resign.

It was later seen that Armed security personnel, including police and DSS agents, surrounded the PDP secretariat on Monday morning.

Due to their vehicles parked at the entrance of the secretariat,The staff of the party did not enter the secretariat to avoid possible harassment.

Sources say the police deployment is linked to the planned protest by PDP youth over Governor Akeredolu’s absence from the state.
