Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has decided he will play at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON next year.
Onana is selected for Cameroon’s national team, he would miss United’s upcoming Premier League, FA Cup, and possibly Carabao Cup and Champions League fixtures.
Andre Onana had a misunderstanding with head coach Rigobert Song at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar which saw him leave Cameroon’s camp in Qatar to fly back home.
But He made his return as the Indomitable Lions beats Buruni 3-0 in September and played in the 1-0 defeat to Senegal in a friendly match this month.
It is uncertain when the Manchester United’s goalie will return to the club, but according to reports, he has chosen to represent his national team at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2024.
