Why Nigeria Jollof Is Better Than Ghanian Jollof – Hilda Baci (Video)
Nigerian chef Hilda Baci recently appeared on a podcast with fellow Ghanaians, where she discussed her opinion on the popular dish, jollof rice.
Baci expressed her disappointment with the flavor of Ghanaian jollof, particularly reminiscing about a past competition between Nigeria and Ghana.
During the competition, Baci proudly declared herself the winner and highlighted her disappointment in the taste of the Ghanaian jollof she tried.
Despite being a competition where participants aimed to showcase their best version of the dish, she found the Ghanaian jollof to lack any distinct flavor.
Baci confidently stated that the Ghanaian jollof she tasted represented the best effort from her Ghanaian counterpart.
She mentioned examining Ghanaian jollof recipes and concluding that they were basic at best, lacking the intricate flavor profiles she values.
