Serie A: Victor Osimhen Named AIC Player Of the Year 

The Italian Footballers’ Association (AIC) has named Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as their Footballer of the Year for 2022/23.

Osimhen was instrumental in Napoli’s Serie A triumph, their first league title in 33 years.

The 24-year-old Nigerian forward scored 18 goals in 27 league appearances, playing an important role in the team’s success.

Despite an injury-hit season, Victor Osimhen has continued his impressive goalscoring form for Napoli.

It is worth noting that the Nigerian international has netted 26 goals in 32 Serie A appearances, and his impressive goals-per-game ratio has continued into the current campaign.
