Daddy Yankee Retired From Music, Embark On Life Devoted To Faith In Jesus
Renowned reggaeton artist, Ramón Ayala, popularly known as Daddy Yankee, has recently made an official announcement about his retirement from the music industry.
The Puerto Rican singer and rapper shared this news with his fans during the final day of his farewell tour, La Meta, held in Puerto Rico. Expressing his future aspirations, Daddy Yankee expressed his desire to “evangelize the world” and lead a life devoted to his faith in Jesus.
During his farewell address, the acclaimed singer referenced a verse from the Bible, reflecting on his achievements throughout his career: “I was able to travel the world for years, winning numerous awards, receiving applause and admiration. However, I realized the wisdom in the words of the Bible – ‘What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?’”
This introspective moment led Daddy Yankee to make the decision to retire from music and embark on a new journey.
Daddy Yankee initiated his musical career in 1994 and is widely recognized as one of the trailblazers in the reggaeton genre. Having achieved great success and leaving an indelible mark on the music industry, he has decided to conclude this chapter of his life at the age of 46.
As he bids farewell to his career in music, Daddy Yankee eagerly anticipates the beginning of a new narrative and a fresh start in pursuing his spiritual and personal endeavors.
