Aiyedatiwa Set To Be Sworn In As Ondo Governor
Lucky Aiyedatiwa is expected to be sworn in as the official executive Governor of Ondo State following the passing of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
At the time of this report, Aiyedatiwa has arrived at the Governor’s Office in Akure, the capital city of Ondo State, for his swearing-in ceremony.
It is worth mentioning that Governor Akeredolu had handed over power to Aiyedatiwa on December 12 when he went on medical leave.
Unfortunately, Governor Akeredolu passed away at the age of 67 in Germany during the early hours of Wednesday.
The swearing-in ceremony of Lucky Aiyedatiwa marks the transition of leadership in Ondo State and he will assume the responsibilities and duties of the executive Governor.
It is a critical moment for the state as the new governor takes office and works towards fulfilling the needs and aspirations of the people of Ondo State.
