‘We’re Both Winning, Celebrate And Support Us,’ Yemi Alade Dismisses Comparison
Popular Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has dismissed the comparison between herself and fellow artist, Tiwa Savage.
Alade expressed her delight about her performance at the opening ceremony of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast on her social media page.
However, when a fan claimed that she was superior to Tiwa Savage, Alade did not appreciate the comparison.
Instead, she urged the fan to support and celebrate both artists as they are both successful.
She described comparison as “the thief of joy.”
The fan wrote, “U better than Tiwa [Savage].”
Yemi Alade replied: “Comparison is the thief of joy. We’re both winning…. celebrate and support us all.”
