Oscars 2024 Awards: ‘Oppenheimer’ Scooped 7 Awards [Full List]
The 96th edition of the Oscars, the biggest night in showbiz awards, brought with it some intriguing and enjoyable moments.
One such amusing incident occurred when iconic actor Alfred Pacino, also known as Al Pacino, prematurely announced the winner of the Best Picture award on early Monday.
Jumping protocol, the 83-year-old actor, famously known as ‘The Godfather,’ announced the Best Picture award winner at the Oscars before listing the nominees in the category, contrary to the traditional Oscars protocol.
“I see Oppenheimer,” he declared.
The movie ‘Oppenheimer’ stole the spotlight at the Oscars, clinching seven awards during the three-hour-long event, including accolades in categories like Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Picture.
The 2023 film, helmed by Christopher Nolan, featured Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American physicist renowned as the ‘father of the atomic bomb’ for his contributions to the Manhattan Project during World War II.
