BREAKING: Burna Boy, Ayra Starr,Tems, Others Nominated For 2024 BET Awards

Several Nigerian music superstars, including Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, Tems, Davido, Lojay, and Seyi Vibez, have received nominations for the upcoming 2024 BET Awards.

The BET Awards organizing committee recently unveiled the nominations for the 2024 edition, with African artists notably well-represented. Burna Boy, dubbed the ‘African giant,’ secured nominations in the Best Male Hip Hop Artist and Best Male R&B/POP Artist categories.

He is joined by other talented Nigerian acts such as Asake, Ayra Starr, and Seyi Vibez.

Noteworthy mentions on the international front include Drake, leading with seven nominations, and Nicki Minaj, following closely with six.

Additionally, Davido and Lojay were recognized with a nomination for the Viewers Choice Award owing to their collaboration on Chris Brown’s track ‘Sensational.’

Asake also received a nomination for ‘Best International Act,’ while Seyi Vibez earned recognition in the ‘Viewers Choice Best International New Act’ category.

The 2024 BET Awards are set to be broadcast live on BET on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 8 pm (European Time).
