Rema Set To Perform At Indian Billionaire Ambani’s Son’s Wedding For A Fee Of $3 Million
Nigerian afrobeats sensation, Rema, has recently landed in India to grace the wedding celebration of Asia’s wealthiest man, Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of esteemed pharma personalities Viren and Shaila Merchant.
Rema shared a glimpse of his journey on Instagram, showcasing his stylish stride towards a private chartered plane in a sleek all-black ensemble.
He set the mood with his track ‘Azaman’ from his latest album ‘He Is,’ and adorned the Indian flag emoji in his post.
Reports indicate that Rema is charging a hefty $3 million for his performance of ‘Calm Down,’ a global hit, at this grand occasion.
Additionally, Canadian singer Justin Bieber reportedly commanded $10 million for his show, while pop icon Rihanna also graced the event with her performance, although her fee remains undisclosed.
The upcoming union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is set to take place on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s bustling Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC).
This wedding extravaganza spans four days and marks the culmination of a series of lavish celebrations hosted by the Ambani family since March.
Noteworthy individuals in attendance include Kim Kardashian, former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, ex-Swedish PM Carl Bildt, former Canadian PM Stephen Harper, and other distinguished guests.
