TRANSFER: Iheanacho Lands In Spain To Finalize Sevilla Move
Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho has touched down in Spain to finalize his move to Sevilla FC, according to DAILY POST.
The Super Eagles forward will undergo a medical examination before signing a two-year deal with the LaLiga outfit.
Iheanacho, 27, spent seven seasons at Leicester City, where he won the FA Cup in 2021 and scored the winning goal in the 2021 Community Shield against his former club, Manchester City.
Following the expiration of his contract last month, Iheanacho departed Leicester City’s King Power Stadium.
He will join forces with fellow Nigerian Chidera Ejuke, who also recently signed with Sevilla on a free transfer.
The move is part of Sevilla’s major overhaul after a disappointing 14th-place finish in the previous season.
