BREAKING: French Veteran Actor, Alain Delon Is Dead
Alain Delon, a prominent figure in French cinema, has passed away at the age of 88, as announced by his children on Sunday.
Delon’s legacy is marked by a complex reputation, with some viewing him as a charismatic sex symbol while others seeing him as an arrogant chauvinist.
His notable performances in celebrated films such as “Purple Noon” (1960) and “Le Samourai” (1967) have solidified his place in cinematic history.
“Alain Fabien, Anouchka, Anthony, as well as (his dog) Loubo, are deeply saddened to announce the passing of their father.
“He passed away peacefully in his home in Douchy, surrounded by his three children and his family,” Delon’s children said in a statement to AFP.
The actor succumbed to lymphoma in the early hours of the morning, as confirmed by his son, Anthony.
