BREAKING: DSS Arrests Joe Ajaero, NLC President
Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday morning.
Report shows that Ajaero was about to board a flight to the United Kingdom for an official assignment when he was taken into custody.
Although the reasons for his arrest are still unclear, sources indicate that he has been transferred to the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
Ajaero was scheduled to attend the Trade Union Congress (TUC) conference in the UK, which is taking place today.
