BREAKING: Samsung Co-CEO, Han Jong-Hee Is Dead
Samsung Electronics co-CEO, Han Jong-Hee passed on.
This tragic incident was revealed by the company’s spoke person who said that, Han died on Tuesday due to cardiac arrest at the age of 63.
Han, born in 1962, dedicated over 37 years to Samsung and help in the establishment of its TV business as a worldwide leader.
Furthermore, He was appointed vice chairman and co-CEO in 2022, managing the affairs of the company’s consumer electronics and mobile devices divisions.
In an internal message of tribute, Samsung released a heart-felt statement to Han, stating, “He dedicated more than 37 years of his life to leading Samsung’s TV business to become a global leader.”
“Our deepest condolences are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time, ” the statement concluded.
According to CNN, Just last week, Han hosted Samsung’s annual investor meeting, where he addressed concerns about the company’s stock performance and economic uncertainties.
“There are some difficulties in doing semiconductor M&As due to regulatory issues and various national interests, but we’re determined to produce some tangible results this year,” he said.
According to the spokesperson, no announcement has been made regarding Han’s successor.
