Former Oyo Governor Ajimobi’s Daughter Passes Away in London

Bisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State, has passed away at the age of 42 in London, United Kingdom. The news of her passing was reported by OyoInsight, an Oyo-based online newspaper, on Thursday morning, March 27, 2025.
Bisola was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, a prominent Ibadan-born politician and bank executive, and was a devoted mother to their three children. Her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, expressed his profound grief on social media, stating, “The world has lost a shining star. Bisola was not just my wife; she was my partner in everything. Her spirit will live on in our children.”
Bisola Kola-Daisi was a respected philanthropist and a significant figure in the business world. She served as the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a well-established retail and wholesale chain founded in 1984. She was also the founder of Florence H. Luxury boutique, where she made a notable impact in the fashion industry.
Prior to her passing, Bisola held the position of Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu. As of this report, neither the Kola-Daisi nor the Ajimobi families have released an official statement regarding her passing.
