Tinubu to Mark 73rd Birthday with National Mosque Prayers

President Bola Tinubu will celebrate his 73rd birthday with a special prayer session at the National Mosque in Abuja on Friday, coinciding with Ramadan. He will use the occasion to express gratitude for his continued ability to lead the nation.
His Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga, stated that the President will dedicate the day to “spiritual reflection and supplication for Nigeria’s continued peace, progress, and prosperity.” Tinubu believes collective prayer is crucial for national progress and harmony.
The President invites Nigerians to join him in spirit by offering prayers in their own locations, reinforcing national unity. He expressed gratitude for the public’s support as his administration works on economic reforms, national security, and expanding opportunities.
“I am deeply thankful to Allah for the gift of life and the privilege to serve this great nation,” Tinubu stated, urging citizens to pray for “divine guidance, unity, and healing.”3 He reaffirmed his commitment to democratic gains, economic recovery, and national cohesion, encouraging Nigerians to remain hopeful about the nation’s future.
