Labour Party Ogun Boss: Nigerians Want Change, APC Should Prepare for 2027 Defeat

The Ogun State Labour Party Chairman, Apagun Olaolu Samuel, has told the APC to brace for defeat in the 2027 general elections, citing national dissatisfaction with the current administration. Speaking in Abeokuta, Samuel said, “The Labour Party is set to take over governance from the APC-led federal government in 2027 because Nigerians are already hungry for the LP.”
Samuel criticized the APC for the country’s insecurity and economic woes, arguing that these issues are pushing Nigerians toward the Labour Party. He also described the LP as the only effective opposition, referencing the crisis within the PDP.
He credited the Supreme Court’s intervention for restoring stability to the party and welcomed the influx of new members from the PDP. “Our door is open, and our arms are wider open to accept them,” Samuel said.
He predicted a significant increase in votes for the LP in 2027 and called for unity within the party, emphasizing the need for collaboration to achieve electoral victory.
