Bishop David Abioye, former Vice President and retired pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has officially launched his new ministry, Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly, marking a significant milestone in his spiritual journey.

The inauguration took place during the ministry’s first Sunday service on May 4, 2025, attracting a massive and enthusiastic congregation eager to be part of the new movement.

In a heartfelt address, Abioye emphasized that the establishment of this ministry was not driven by external demands or personal ambition but by a divine mandate. “May I make it very clear that the inauguration of this assembly is not in response to demands of people to start a church, but by the emergence of God’s eternal purpose ordained from the foundation of the world, which is just coming to light at His own time,” he declared.

He described the new church as an offshoot of the universal church of Jesus Christ, dedicated to advancing the Great Commission as commanded in Matthew 28:18-20. Abioye humbly positioned himself as a messenger assigned to a specific task within the broader divine agenda, acknowledging that no single person can fulfill the entire commission alone.

Concluding the service, he officially inaugurated the ministry, inviting all present to join in the mission for “the spiritual development, edification and triumph of the saints globally.” He warmly welcomed members to the Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly, declaring, “Everyone who witnesses this today will not cease to conquer in all affairs of your life. You will be named more than conquerors.”

This inauguration follows Abioye’s retirement from Living Faith Church Worldwide in October 2024, after over 40 years of dedicated ministry, prompted by the church’s new retirement policy.
