JUST IN: S’Arabia Announces Date For Eid-el-Kabir
The Saudi Arabian government has confirmed the sighting of the Dhul Hijjah crescent.
In an announcement shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Haramain Sharifain on Tuesday, it was stated that Dhul Hijjah 1446 will begin on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
The post also outlined important dates for upcoming Islamic events:
“First day of Dhul Hijjah – Wednesday, 28th May 2025”
“The Day of Arafah – Thursday, 5th June 2025”
“Day of Eid Al Adha – Friday, 6th June 2025.”
The Day of Arafah, a spiritually significant occasion marking the peak of Hajj, will take place on June 5 as pilgrims gather at Mount Arafat.
Eid-el-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, will be observed the following day, on June 6.
