VIDEO: NDLEA Busts Drug Syndicate Using Green Tea as Cover for Psychoactive Substances

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has made a major bust, intercepting a shipment of psychoactive drugs camouflaged as green tea.
This latest operation, disclosed by NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi on X (formerly Twitter), highlights the evolving tactics of drug traffickers.
Babafemi warned, “This consignment is a green tea import in packaging and on the outside but if you drink it, you may lose your mind because the real and undisclosed content is psychoactive substances as discovered by #ndlea_nigeria officers in one of our latest seizures. Shine your eyes.”
The agency’s vigilance has prevented potentially harmful substances from reaching unsuspecting consumers. The NDLEA continues to intensify efforts to combat drug smuggling across Nigeria.
