Spanish Super Cup Semi-final Draw Confirmed [Full fixtures]

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has officially confirmed the fixtures for the Spanish Super Cup semi-finals.

Barcelona will lock horns with Athletic Club, while city rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid square off in the other tie.

This year’s mini-tournament is scheduled for January 7–11 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with matches to be staged at the King Abdullah Sports City — now a regular stage for Spanish football showpieces.

Barcelona head into the competition as defending champions, having crushed Real Madrid 5-2 in last season’s final under Hansi Flick to seal a historic Treble.

Previously, the Super Cup was a one-off clash between the LaLiga and Copa del Rey winners.

The current format, however, brings together the league winners and runners-up alongside the Copa del Rey finalists.
