UCL: Osimhen Shortlisted For Player Of The Week Award, See Other Nominees
According to reports, Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week award.
The Nigerian striker earned the nomination following his outstanding display in Galatasaray’s 3-0 win over Ajax on Wednesday night, where he scored all three goals for the Turkish Super Lig champions.
Osimhen has now netted six goals in just three Champions League matches this season.
Also shortlisted for the award are Arsenal midfielder Mikel Merino, Manchester City’s Phil Foden, and Club Brugge’s Carlos Forbs.
Fans can cast their votes for their favourite player on the official UEFA Champions League website.
