Chelsea to sign Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo could return to the Premier League 11 years later as a world star. Onyxnews Nigeria quotes ‘Calciomercato‘ assuring that.
Chelsea is planing to sign Ronaldo and are making a 120 million euro offer for the Juventus star. The major mediator would be his agent, Jorge Mendes.
The news platform assures that the agent has convinced the Blues to put on the table such a price to try and sign him. The figure is a bit higher than what Juve paid to get him from Real Madrid.
And it is much higher than the 35 year old present market value. Even though he continues to be one of the most lethal attackers in the world- and ever-, his market value is just over 40 million euros, and well established in Serie A.
The Juve board don’t have any intention to let Ronaldo go.
Under contract until 2022, this will be the main stumbling obstacle for Chelsea if they want to move ahead. In their favour, there is the downward reduction that the market will suffer this summer due to the crisis of deadly coronavirus. 120 million euros may be worth considerably more than it seems in a matter of weeks.
