Mamman Daura, a nephew of President Buhari, has been flown to the United Kingdom for urgent medical treatment for what is suspected to be COVID-19.
The former journalist was said to have been flown in a private jet to the UK earlier on Wednesday after showing respiratory difficulties with symptoms similar to coronavirus since Friday 14th August 2020.
Daura, who is an integral member of group of influential individuals around President Buhari, ‘the cabal’ who help him make major decisions, is reported to have had a history of renal trouble and had regularly visited the UK for medical treatment.
