Another Thing FG Has Agreed To Do For ASUU To End Strike

Another thing FG has agreed to do for ASUU to end strike.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that the Federal Government of Nigeria has finally accepted the demand by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) that its members should be exempted from the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).
The Federal Government also shifted grounds on a number of issues, and insisted that all the academic staff of the federal universities must be paid through the IPPIS platform.
Senator Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, who read out the message at the end of a seven-hour parley with ASUU members in Abuja, said the government also agreed to ASUU’s demand to pay their members’ salary arrears from February to June through the old salary payment platform, Government Integrated Financial and Management Information System.
