ONDO: Aiyedatiwa Dissolves Cabinet , Retains Two New Commissioners
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.
This was communicated in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Wednesday in Akure.
In the announcement, the governor specified that two members of the cabinet would remain in their positions due to the importance of their roles.
The retained commissioners are Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, who serves as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, and Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, the Commissioner for Finance.
“All the affected cabinet members are to hand over all government properties in their care to the accounting officers of their respective ministries,” the statement added.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his gratitude to the members of the Executive Council for their dedication and contributions to the progress of Ondo State during his administration, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
