Manchester United fans divided over the signing of Odion Ighalo

Manchester United’s fans were divided over the signing of Nigeria international, Odion Ighalo, who joined the club on loan from Chinese Club, Shanghai Shenhua, for the rest of the season.
While some of them believed that Ighalo was a good signing for Man U due to his physicality and power, others were of the idea that he wasn’t good enough for a club like Manchester.
The fans have taken over social media to express their opinions about the 30-year-old.
A Twitter user with the name Mubarak Muhammad agreed with the signing of the former Watford player, asking the striker to prove doubters wrong.
“Please, I want you to prove them wrong,” he wrote.
Tugger Taiwo echoed the opinion of Muhammed.
He said, “Prove them wrong Ighalo.”
John Dere, “We lack physicality in our attack, I believe he (Ighalo) is going to disturb defenders with his work rate.”
Daniel Saelemaekers saw Ighalo as the perfect man to perform the same task the club legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, did.
“If anyone could be Ronaldo’s successor, it would be Ighalo. He perfectly replicates the total striker in world football.”
Gbenga John tweeted, “Manchester bound…….5years ago and now.”
Among those who shared different opinions of the Nigerian is Risky Matthew, who said, “Mane and Salah are a thousand times better than that Watford reject.”
The 30-year-old may have performed well at the Africa Cup of Nations, AbdulRasheed doubts if he can repeat that performance in the EPL.
