Update: Africa records more fresh cases of coronavirus, see countries

Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal have confirmed cases of coronavirus, making it the total of six in number of people with the virus on the continent.
Before the latest development, Nigeria, Algeria and Egypt were the only African countries with confirmed cases of the virus, which has killed over 3000 persons across the world.
The Senegalese health minister confirmed at a press conference in Dakar, capital of Senegal, on Monday, that a French national who arrived in the country last week has tested positive to the virus, and had been under observation at a health institute in Dakar.
On the other hand in Tunisia, a 40-year-old citizen, who arrived the country by boat from Italy, tested positive to the virus. While the Morocco state media revealed the first case of the virus in the county.
According to regional director for Africa at the World Health Organisation Matshidiso Moeti revealed that not more than 33 countries in Africa can now conduct coronavirus test.
The virus, which broke out in Wuhan, China, in December, has affected over 80,000 persons.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia had earlier cancelled the annual lesser hajj pilgrimage to prevent an outbreak of the virus had recorded its first case yesterday, Monday.
