Breaking: 2020 Spanish Super Cup: Real Madrid defeat Atletico Madrid
Real Madrid have defeated Atletico Madrid 4-1 on penalty to lift the Spanish Super Cup.
The 2020 Spanish Super Cup final between Real and Atlético Madrid was played at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday 12 January 2020.
The match was goalless after 120 minutes, which caused a penalty shoot out to decide the champion of the cup.
Madrid players got all penalties, while Atletico missed three.
Sergio Ramos, Vinicius Junior, Dani Carvajal and Luka Modric all scored their goals for Madrid.
It was the first trophy for manager, Zinedine Zidane on his second return to Real Madrid.
