BREAKING: Nigeria records fresh cases of coronavirus, making it 174

Nigeria has recorded fresh cases of coronavirus on Wednesday night.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 23 fresh cases of the deadly disease, which means the total number of the pandemic in the country is 174.
This was revealed by the centre on today’s night through its verified Twitter handle.
NCDC tweeted, “Twenty three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria – Nine in Lagos, seven in the FCT, five in Akwa Ibom, one in Kaduna and one in Bauchi State.
“As of 08:00 pm on 1st of April, there are 174 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths,” the centre tweeted.
Onyxnews Nigeria, reported earlier on Wedneday 1, April 2020, that Nigeria has confirmed 12 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, with the deadly pandemic in Nigeria hiting to the total of 151 cases.
This online news reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the 12 fresh cases of coronavirus in a tweet on Wednesday afternoon, April 1 through Twitter.
This online news platform recalls that of the four coronavirus cases recorded on Wednesday afternoon by the NCDC, nine were detected in Osun State, two in Edo State and one in Ekiti State.
The 12 fresh coronavirus cases registered by the NCDC, brings the virus cases in Nigeria to the total number of one hundred and fifty-one (151) then.
But as at when filing this report at 8pm on Wednesday, the cases of the virus in Nigeria is 174 in number.
