BREAKING: More cases of coronavirus detected in Nigeria
Coronavirus is taking a new turn globally despites the lock down, as Nigeria again has confirmed 10 new cases in the country.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 10 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday morning, 5 April 2020
This reliable online news platform understands that the NCDC pointed out that the ten cases of the deadly coronavirus recorded on Sunday morning are analysed as follows: 6 were detected in Lagos and 2 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja and 2 in Edo State respectively.
The NCDC tweeted: “Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo. As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths.
“As at 11:15am 5th April, there are 224 confirmed cases 27 discharged 5 deaths For a breakdown of cases by states- http://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng Lagos- 115 FCT- 45 Osun- 20 Oyo- 9 Akwa Ibom- 5 Ogun- 4 Edo- 9 Kaduna- 4 Bauchi- 6 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-1 Benue- 1 Ondo- 1,” the tweet added.

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that this new cases in the Nigeria means that the country’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus has hit two hundred and twenty-four (224) with twenty-seven (27) people discharged and five (5 ) deaths recorded
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported on Saturday night five new cases of coronavirus in the country, which made it 214 initially before the 10 new is added to bring the total number of the pandemic disease in Nigeria to 224.
