Popular professional female wrestler is dead

Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Hana Kimura, a professional Japanese wrestler and cast member of the Netflix reality show “Terrace House,” is dead.

This was disclosed in a statement released by Wrestling organization – Stardom, on Friday, May 22 via Twitter.

The statement read: “We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away,” Stardom, tweeted Friday night. Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends.”

Reacting to the 22 year old’s demise, one of Kimura’s friends and colleagues said: “Rest In Peace, Shad Gaspard. Rest In Peace, Hana Kimura. Stay Strong, Pro Wrestling”

This reliable online news platform learnt that before her death, Kimura was tipped to get to the very top in her career.

This was also disclosed by another wrestling organisation, Wrestling Travel, which stated in a tweet that: “Hana Kimura was one of the first women to wrestle on a Wrestle Kingdom show, working in front of a packed Tokyo Dome this January. A whole, history making career was ahead of her. 22-years-old. Heartbreaking doesn’t even begin to cover it #RIPHanaKimura.”

Similarly, Owen Hart, another professional wrestler who worked for several promotions including Stampede Wrestling has been remembered today, 23 May.

The Wrestling Travel remembered his death via the micro blogging site, Twitter.

The organisation tweeted: “21 years ago today we lost Owen Hart. This week, @DarkSideOfRing remembered the night of his tragic death, but also some of his most legendary ribs, which had the locker room in hysterics back in the day…”

Owen Hart died at age 34 of Blunt trauma on May 23 1999.
