With high cases of COVID-19 in Kano, Eid prayers hold without social distancing (Photos)

Even with having the second highest COVID-19 cases in the country, social distancing was not completely observed during the Eid prayers in Kano on Sunday morning.
Onyxnews Nigeria understands that the Eid prayer is the first with Emir Ado Bayero of Kano.
During the prayers, religious leaders clustered behind what looks like a glass partition.
While the governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and those around him sat apart, though not up to two meters as recommended by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The people behind the partition were close to one another.
Photos of the Eid prayers were posted by the media aide to governor Ganduje, Salihu Tanko Yakasai.
H.E @GovUmarGanduje and his Deputy H.E @DGawuna attended the Eid-il Fitr Prayers today, which was also the first Eid prayer of His Highness the Emir of Kano and Chairman of the Kano State Council of Emirs Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero. The prayers were led by the Chief Imam of Kano. pic.twitter.com/xBo0uOZe6F
