JUST IN: President Buhari meets with one of the Service Chiefs

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari met with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai on Monday.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the president’s meeting with the COAS took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This reliable online news platform understands that this was announced by the Personal Assistant to President Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on micro blogging site, Twitter.
“President Muhammadu Buhari receives a briefing from the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai on the activities of the Nigeria Army on security situation in the country this afternoon, at the State House, Abuja,” Ahmad tweeted.

This meeting comes after Buratai moved to the North East where he is overseeing and directing the overall operation in the theatre and other Nigerian Army operations across the country.
This was revealed in a statement signed by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa.
