BREAKING: Fire guts CBN office in Gombe

Fire broke out at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Gombe on Friday.
Information reaching Onyxnews Nigeria says the cause of the fire which started about 10am today is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
This has added to various fire outbreaks that have hit major government offices in the country recently.
Similarly, during the peak of the lock down imposed due to coronavirus pandemic, on April 8, fire broke out at the Treasury House, a building housing the Accountant-General of the Federation’s office, exactly a week after there was another fire outbreak at the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission, while the Independent National Electoral Commission’s office in Abuja also went up in flames days after.
Onyxnews Nigeria had also reported on April 21 that the Jos branch of the CBN in Plateau State was also gutted by fire.
