More confusion for Obaseki as another top aide resigns

Another top aide of Governor Godwin Obaseki has resigned ahead of Edo governorship election.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that Senior Special Assistant to Obaseki on Gender, Agatha Onos tendered her resignation on Wednesday, August 5.
The top Obaseki’s aide in a letter of resignation submitted to the Edo Governor said her resignation is as a result of her loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) where the Governor defected from to join the PDP.
Onos appreciated the governor in the letter, for giving her an opportunity and privilege to serve in his administration.
Meanwhile, Governor Obaseki who many of his aides resign as the governorship election draws closer will contest the Edo gubernatorial election scheduled for September 19 against Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC.
