Sadiya Farouq married Chief of Air Staff, Sadiq Abubakar, in a secret ceremony.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq is said to have a secret wedding ceremony with the present Chief of Air Staff, a year after being rumoured to be President Buhari’s mistress.
According to report by SaharaReporters on micro-blogging site, one year after being rumoured to be President Buhari’s mistress, Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Farouq Sadiya marries Chief of Air Staff in secret ceremony.
The extremely private occasion is said to have taken place last week Friday, 18 September 2020. It was the culmination of a love affair between the two public personalities that date back to more than a year ago.
The minister, who clocks 46 on November 5, 2019 has never been married and has no children. The Chief of Air Staff, who is from Bauchi State, on the other hand, has 10 children from two wives one of whom he has since divorced.
The two have kept their marriage a secret just the same way their relationship escaped public knowledge.
Sadiya Farouq was appointed minister by President Buhari in 2019 while Abubakar, has been in the office since 2015 and he is among service chiefs Nigerians have asked the Commander-ln-Chief to sack for their poor fight against insecurity in the country.
