#EndSARS : Policeman joins End SARS Protest, see him in video
A policeman is seen joined the #End SARS Protest.
In a video which has already gone viral on the micro-blogging site, Twitter a Policeman is filmed telling the crowd to continue their protest against the activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The Policeman whose voice was caught on camera lamented that his own innocent brother was arrested and maltreated by SARS operatives.
Even with his intervention, they didn’t respect the fact that he was also an officer like them.
It will be recalled that the #Endsars protest which started as a social media protest, has now gained traction and assumed a physical dimension as protesters have stormed several cities in the country, demanding an immediate end to the activities of SARS operatives.
The #EndSARS protesters across cities in Nigeria are demanding among other things, a ban to the indiscriminate acts of police brutalities and particularly the total disbandment of a controversial unit of the police force, Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
