Senator Bukola Saraki Again Gets National Appointment

The President of the 8th Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has been appointed as the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Reconciliation Committee.
Saraki who recently returned from Germany will head leading opposition party six-member National Reconciliation Committee.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan revealed this on Monday via a teaser statement posted on party’s verified Twitter handle.
This appointment is coming just a week after Saraki received heroic welcome in Ilorin, Kwara state capital.
Recall that Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki served as Kwara State Governor from 2003 to 2011.
Other members are former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Pius Ayim; former House Minority Leader, Mulikat Akande and former Governors Liyel Imoke (Cross River), Ibrahim Shema (Katsina) Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe).
