Forbes Releases Richest Persons In Africa, See Top 18 In The List

Forbes Magazine has reportedly released richest persons in Africa in it’s latest ranking.
Aliko Dangote retained his position as the richest person in Africa with a net worth of $12.5b.
In the latest ranking by Forbes magazine, the Nigerian businessman, who is the founder and Chairman of Dangote Cement, the continent’s largest cement producer kept the position he has occupied for nine years now.

He owns 85% of publicly-traded Dangote Cement which produces 45.6 million metric tons annually and has operations in 10 countries across Africa.
The Billionaire businessman also owns stakes in publicly-traded salt and sugar manufacturing companies. He began the construction of his refinery, known as Dangote Refinery, in 2016 and is expected to be one of the world’s largest oil refineries once complete.
