OnyxNews Nigeria reports that Boko Haram insurgents have released footage showing its fighters shooting down missing NAF fighter jet mid-air.

The video also showed fighters carrying RPG & artillery equipment, as well as a corpse of the pilot & the aircraft’s debris as gathered in a report shared on Twitter by Hum Angle.
This is coming at a time the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has declared one of its aircraft lost radar contact on Wednesday while on a mission in the Northeast.
It will be recalled that Nigeria’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao has arrived in Borno State on Thursday amidst the circumstances surrounding the missing Nigeria Air Force (NAF) fighter jet.

This online news medium had reported that the Nigerian Air Force on Friday said that the Alpha Jet aircraft (NAF475) that went off the radar on Wednesday may have crashed.
The Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet made this known in a statement titled ‘Update On Missing NAF Alpha Jet Aircraft.’ Read more
NAF stated that the whereabouts of the two pilots remain unknown.
