BREAKING: PDP BOT Member Dumps Party

PDP BOT Member has dumped party to APC.
Onyxnewsng reports that a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Senator Joy Emordi has dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress.
The Anambra politician was officially received into the APC in Abuja on Wednesday, 4th August by the Chairman APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni.
Explaining why she dumped the PDP for APC, Senator Emordi noted that the ruling party has become more attractive by showing commitment to the people of the southeast and she believes the APC is committed to Nigeria.
She further promised her loyalty to the APC and its tenets.
“l assure the party of my loyalty and support and to work for the success of the party,” she declared, adding that “the APC led federal government is working for the South East and this is attracting more PDP members into APC.”
On his part, Governor Buni said Emordi’s presence in APC is crucial in the political stability of the country and the party’s plan for the southeast region.

“There is need for us to join hands for the political stability and national unity of our dear country” he said.
“The Southeast is a strong political block and very crucial to the unity of the country, this will no doubt add to national cohesion” Buni added.
This is happening after on Tuesday’s mass resignation of its seven national officers, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, may be sent out for peace to reign in the main opposition party.
This is as the Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deliberated on the future of the embattled Chairman of the Party on Wednesday.
