Nigerian Army Breaks Silence On Recruiting Repentant Boko Haram Into The Service

Nigerian Army breaks silence on recruiting repentant Boko Haram terrorists into the service.
Report reaching Onyxnewsng stated that the Nigerian Army has said that it had not and would not enlist former or repentant Boko Haram terrorists into the service.
The Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, made the clarification in a statement yesterday in Abuja, explaining that people should stop relating the collapse of the Afghan military to the ongoing surrender by the Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Nigeria.
Nwachukwu added that it was not recommended to absorb former fighters into the services of a regular military as a general rule.
