President Buhari has appointed new ministers.
Onyxnewsng reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has named the current Minister of Environment, Mohammad Mahmood Abubakar as the new Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development.
He also appointed the Minister of State, Works & Housing, Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu as the new Minister of Power.
The new ministers are expected to resume duties immediately.
Reports stated that the President made the surprise decision after reports of inefficiency and poor management on the path of the now-ex-ministers.
President Buhari justified the move by stating that it was in keeping with the “tradition of subjecting our projects and programmes implementation to independent and critical self-review” during Cabinet meetings and retreats.
