Onyxnews Nigeria gathered from FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded, that the official exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar opened at ₦413.69/$1 on Friday 10th December, after it closed at ₦415.07 to a $1 on Thursday, December 9th 2021.

The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos and Abuja Parallel Market (Black Market) for today, Friday, December 10th sells at N568/1$, and buy at ₦570 according to the Bureau De Change (BDC) this morning.
However, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognise the parallel market (black market), as it has directed individuals who want to engage in Forex to approach their respective banks.
