Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe, others removed from UK ‘red list’.
Effective from tomorrow, Wednesday December 15, 2021, the United Kingdom, UK, will remove Nigeria, South Africa and other African countries from its red list.
Recall UK has placed some African on it’s travel ban at the wake of the fourth wave of COVID-19, Omicron Variant.
The Omicron variant which was first discovered in Africa from South Africa led to the travel restriction.
UK Releases Another Update On Travel Ban
Onyxnewsng gathered that Sebastian Payne, a British Journalist and Whitehall Editor of Financial Times On His Twitter Handle said 11 countries including South Africa will be removed from the ‘red list’ travel restrictions tomorrow.
