BREAKING: Super Cop, Abba Kyari Finally Sent To Prison
Onyxnewsng gathered that Abba Kyari, the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police who is facing trial for an alleged cocaine deal, was sent to prison custody by a federal high court in Abuja on Monday.
The court sent Abba Kyari and six other people charged with drug trafficking to the Kuje Correctional Center.
Shortly after denying them bail, trial Justice Emeka Nwike issued an order to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to transfer the defendants to prison custody.

They had been detained by the NDLEA. The court decided that the NDLEA had presented enough evidence to justify refusing Kyari and his co-defendants bail.
Former members of the IRT, ACP Sunday Ubia, Inspector Simon Agirgba, and Inspector John Nuhu, were also denied bail. Other defendants in the FHC/ABJ/57/2022 charge include ASP Bawa James, as well as two drug traffickers, Chibunna Patrick Umeibe and Emeka Alphonsus Ezenwane, who were arrested at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu.
