BREAKING: JAMB Announces Date For 2023 UTME Registration, Exams
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday has announced date for the commencement of 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration
The board fixed January 14th, 2023 as the date for the kickoff its 2023 UTME registration.
JAMB also set April 29 for the conduct of the 2023 UTME itself, which is expected to end on May 12.
Fabian Benjamin, the JAMB spokesperson made this known this after a management meeting held on Tuesday.
He said the board announced that registration for its 2023 UTME will hold between January 14 and February 14.
It is understood that this does not include the registration for direct entry (DE) application documents.
The board said the DE registration would commence on February 20 and end on April 20, 2023.
JAMB also fixed March 16 for the conduct of its optional mock UTME.

“Candidates are to note that they would be required to pay the sum of N1000 service charge for CBT centres for the conduct of mock examination at the point of registration,” the board said.
This is to prevent a situation where candidates would indicate their interest to sit the mock-UTME leading the various centres to commit human and material resources only for them to stay away on the day of the exam.
“With the new arrangement, candidates indicate their interest by paying for the mock at the point of UTME registration, therefore, precluding the centres from incurring any loss whether candidates turn up or not.”
The exam body said all candidates who desire to register for the 2023 UTME should “immediately” embark on the creation of their respective profiles ahead of the formal commencement of the registration exercise.
