BREAKING: Lagos Labour Party Leaders Dump Gbadebo, Support Sanwo-Olu For Second Term

Leaders of the Lagos Chapter of the Labour Party (LP), have endorsed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a second term in office as the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial city.

The endorsement of Governor Sanwo-Olu by the Lagos Labour Party Leaders took place on Thursday, March 16, 2023, during a meeting held in the Surulere Local Government area of the state.

The endorsement by the Lagos Labour Party Leaders led by the former governorship aspirant, Moshood Salvador, is coming as a result of the degeneration of the Lagos Chapter of the party’s internal crisis.

Giving reason for their decision, the Lagos Labour Party Leaders said they endorsed Governor Sanwo-Olu because of the ill-treatment they received from Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
