Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate review of the proposed N8,000 to 12 million households in Nigeria for six months to cushion the effect of the petrol subsidy removal.

President Tinubu gave the order on the review of the N8,000 palliative in a statement issued by Dele Alake, the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
